Simple. Joyful. Memorable.

Christmas ball

Are you wishing it was over? “The Holidays”, that is!

Between the demands on your time, your wallet and your body, coupled with the awful things that are happening around the world on a daily basis, there are days that seem difficult to get through.

But don’t wish it away!

I vowed to make this holiday less stressful and more joyful. So far, it’s going … okay.

Some days start joyful and end with me collapsing in the chair not wanting to look at another list. Other days I’ve rolled out of bed with little sleep, lots of anxiety, but ended with a fun-filled evening of sharing the spirit of the season with good friends.

At a couple of gatherings through the season, I have heard my gal pals say they are not sending cards, (oh my!) not decorating their tree (you wouldn’t!) and will buy their cookies from the bakery (can you imagine!)

As we gasped and laughed, we teased how in place of those activities we could meet for mani-pedi’s, try several new places to eat, and meet somewhere for good old-fashioned caroling! (No hostess needed!)

Whether you choose to go the traditional route, or decide to through some traditions to the wind and create new ones – make each day of this season

Simple. Joyful. Memorable.

You deserve it, you’ve earned it and no one will remember next year whether you sent a card, made a cookie or decorated your tree. And if they do, well…..

Keep your focus on the reason for the season.

Simple. Joyful. Memorable.

Happy Hanukkah!

Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays to all!
